Tazio Nuvolari is described as the "last of the old and first of the new generation of drivers".
This montage of Nuvolari depicts him in the Scuderia Ferrari Alfa Romeo P3 (Tipo B Monoposto) in what has been described as the greatest victory of his career, the 1935 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring, where he defeated the mighty Auto Union and Mercedes.
Also shown in the painting is his Auto Union Type D at Donington in 1938, and his famous tartaruga (tortoise) mascot.
