Holden VC Commodore wins on debut at Mount Panorama.
After an early scare on lap 14, when it tangled with a back-marker at Reid Park, the Commodore steamed up pit lane "like Puffing Billy" with what seemed like a terminal problem. Fortunately it was only the overflow from the header tank, and was an easy fix. The 05 went on to claim Holden Commodore's first victory on The Mountain.
